Nature and Wildlife
Ireland has wonderful opportunities to experience nature and wildlife first hand. Our national parks are a great place to start, with walking trails and information on the plants and animals that live there.
Try a visit to the Glenveagh, Ballycroy, Connemara, Killarney or Wicklow Mountains National Parks to find out more about the nature around us.
There are areas of outstanding natural significance that are internationally recognised, such as the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher (pictured top right). And there are experiences and tours that bring us closer to wildlife – from whales and dolphins to birdlife.
